PVC膜材是一种由聚氯乙烯（PVC）树脂与其他改性剂经过压延工艺或吹塑工艺制成的材料。PVC膜材料的面层，在保质期内应具有稳定的抗腐蚀、抗紫外线侵蚀的能力，表面具有自结性能；PVC膜材料在火灾环境中达到熔点后会出现熔洞，熔洞边界燃烧蔓延，但不产生明火。按我国GB8624《建筑材料燃烧性能分级方法》被定为B1级难燃材料。
